What your child will learn
Your child will meet their teacher, explore the piano keys and try a simple tune. We’ll show them how to find a few notes, use their fingers and keep a steady beat.
They don’t need to read music or know a song before coming along. We’ll break each activity into small steps and give them time to have a go.
In a group lesson, children also practise listening and learning together. They can hear what others are playing, share their progress and enjoy making music with other kids.
The first lesson is a chance to explore. Your child doesn’t need to get everything right—we want them to feel welcome and enjoy trying something new.
